STA Swimming Teacher Qualification
The STA Swimming Teacher qualification is designed to prepare you to teach swimming independently, giving you the knowledge and practical skills needed to plan, deliver and evaluate swimming lessons.
The qualification combines theory and practical learning, covering areas including lesson planning, swimming strokes and aquatic skills, teaching methods, safety, inclusion and adapting lessons to meet individual learner needs.
On successful completion, you'll be qualified to teach swimming independently and ready to put your skills into practice within a swim school, leisure facility or other aquatic environment.
Practical Course Delivery
Training combines blended learning, tutor-led theory and practical pool sessions, giving you the opportunity to apply what you learn in a real teaching environment.
