Getting to the pool

Access to the pool is made via the community entrance, sign posted adjacent to the car park.

Follow the corridor and turn right past the double doors, this leads to the swimming pool straight ahead through the next set of double doors.

At the poolside entrance there is another set of double doors. Please wait here until they are opened by the poolside supervisor 5 minutes before your start time.

Lesson ready

For your first lesson we ask that participants arrive ‘’lesson ready’’. This simply means having their swimming costumes on underneath their clothes.

You will be granted access to poolside 5 minutes before your lesson start time.

Please do not come on to poolside before the poolside supervisor comes to open the doors.

Participants can get into swimming costumes on poolside and if they require assistance an adult can help them.

Waiting During Lessons

During lessons there will be no access to poolside. After lessons have started Parents/ Guardians will be asked to leave the to the waiting area where lessons can be observed.

If the participant needs the toilet during a lesson and needs assistance, the teacher or lifeguard will make you aware so you can meet them in the changing room.

Post Lesson

You will be allowed access 5 minutes before lesson ends to observe.

Once lessons are finished participants can be collected and escorted to the group changing area.

If you are using the group changing to help a participant, please use the changing room that matches the supervising adult's gender.
