Arriving to Graeme High School

Via Car: Access to the school is through the sports entrance gates, this is signed no entry except for authorised vehicles, do not use the main entrance as the doors will be locked. Park on the right hand side, see video linked below.

Getting to the pool

Access to the pool will be through the double doors located at the corner of the building shown in the video linked below.

Once inside the building follow the corridor through the double doors and access to the pool will be on the left.

Wait here until you are granted access to poolside by the poolside supervisor.

Lesson ready

For your first lesson we ask that participants arrive ‘’lesson ready’’. This simply means having their swimming costumes on underneath their clothes.

You will be granted access to poolside 5 minutes before your lesson start time.

Please do not come on to poolside before the poolside supervisor takes registers.

Participants will get into swimming costumes on poolside and if they require assistance an adult can help them.

Waiting During Lessons

During lessons there will be no access to poolside. After lessons have started Parents/ Guardians will be asked to leave the area.

If the participant needs the toilet during a lesson and needs assistance, the teacher or lifeguard will make you aware so you can meet them in the changing room.

Post Lesson

You will be allowed access 5 minutes before lesson ends to observe.

Once lessons are finished participants can be collected and escorted to the private changing cubicle on poolside or you can use the group changing area.

If you are using the group changing to help a participant, please use the changing room that matches the supervising adult's gender.
